Shredder / Recycling Applications

In recycling applications shredders are often used to crush the collected paper waste to smaller particles to be reused. The shredding application is very dusty therefore extraction is mandatory. Some amounts of the shredded material could also be extracted, so the amount of waste can vary from each individual shredding machines.

The standard Air Filtration Systems solution utilized either a high efficient Cyclone or  NFV separator to separate the residual paper strips from the air. The separator is situated above or on top of a container or a paper compactor. The separator separates the paper strips and feeds them into the compactor and the air and dust is carried to a dust collector. The dust collector is normally the reverse air cleaned NFPZ type collector, or pulsejet cleaned FM units have also been used for continuously application for non-continuously operation a AUTO-M is used.
