Some process gases are to hot to be handled through filtration alone and such gases must be cooled prior to filtering.

Dantherm Filtration has developed a modular cooling unit that combines a heat exchanger with a pre separation chamber into the one unit.

The configuration of the cooling unit is similar to that of our flat bag dust collectors with horizontal cooling tubes secured into a cell plate at the front and rear of the unit and a force draft axial flow fan mounted on the clean gas door forcing ambient air through the inside surface of the cooler tubes.

This style of gas cooling system can handle inlet gas temperatures up to 550—600 Deg C.
